Sony KLV-40W652D TURNS OFF

Sony KLV-40W652D TURNS OFF

The customer reported that the SONY KLV-40W652D seat turned off automatically while driving. In the workshop, the seat functioned properly, so I began fault finding. All main board voltages were correct, but the five-volt supply was slightly high at 5.20 volts. After isolating and checking the resistance, I discovered a defective resistor in the voltage divider feedback line, which caused the instability. Replacing the faulty resistor stabilised the voltage at five volts, and subsequent tests confirmed the seat was fixed.
