A customer reported that their Sony KLV-40W652D LED TV had intermittent sound issues. The sound amplifier IC BD28623 was checked, revealing a 19-volt VCC voltage. Further inspection of the circuit showed four pins connected to the system IC with 100 Ω resistance; pin 5 was identified as the error point. The gain control on pin 6, also with 100 Ω resistance, had a faulty increased value, which was replaced, restoring the sound. After testing, the TV was returned to the customer.
