Sony kdl-50w800c fault dead
The Sony set came to me for repairing and it was completely dead. I checked the power supply adapter and it was working fine. The pilot light of the no set was also off. Now I opened the set and started checking, only nineteen volts was coming. There was a three-point three-volt regulator with a small volt output every few seconds. IC Z1236Q11 was installed in it and nineteen volts were being input. I checked the resistance and found that R9317 was defective. There was a voltage divider of three resistors installed here, which gives a voltage reference to the feedback of the IC. I am also giving the circuit diagram with the set-up photo inside the post
